District Judiciary Assam Recruitment 2026: Apply for Grade-IV Peon & Process Server Posts

The District and Sessions Judge & Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM) Offices across various districts of Assam (including Dima Hasao, Bongaigaon, Dibrugarh, and Morigaon) have invited applications in the prescribed Standard Form (Part-IX of Assam Gazette) for the recruitment of Peon, Chowkidar, and Process Server posts in the District Judiciary establishment of Assam.

Eligibility Criteria & Application Procedure

• Educational Qualification: Candidate must have passed minimum Class VIII (8th Pass). Candidates who have passed HSSLC (12th) or below are eligible. (Note: Graduates are generally excluded as over-qualified for Grade-IV Peon posts as per High Court rules).
• Age Limit: 18 to 40 Years as on 1st January (Relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC/MOBC).
• Selection Process: Scrutiny of applications followed by an Interview / Viva-Voce test.
• How to Apply: Fill the Standard Form, attach 3 passport photos, self-attested copies of 8th pass certificate, birth proof, employment exchange card, and caste certificate, and submit in the drop box at the respective District & Sessions Judge Office.
