Mukhyamantri Atmanirbhar Asom Abhijan (CMAAA 2.0): Apply Online for ₹2 Lakh - ₹5 Lakh Assistance

The Government of Assam has launched the prestigious Mukhya Mantri Atmanirbhar Asom Abhijan (CMAAA 2.0) to promote self-reliance, entrepreneurship, and micro-enterprise generation among educated unemployed youth across Assam.

Under this transformative scheme, eligible youth and rural entrepreneurs receive financial assistance of up to ₹2 Lakhs (for Professional/General category) and up to ₹5 Lakhs (for Specialized/Technical category) in two installments, comprising a 50% Government Grant (Subsidy) and a 50% Interest-Free Government Loan.

Financial Assistance Categories

Category 1: General Category (Assistance: ₹2,00,000/-)

Eligibility: Minimum Class 10 (HSLC) passed candidates with active Employment Exchange registration.
Structure: ₹1,00,000/- as Government Grant (Subsidy) + ₹1,00,000/- as Interest-Free Loan.
Target Sectors: Agriculture, horticulture, dairy, goat farming, fishery, poultry, rural retail, tailoring, and micro manufacturing.

Category 2: Professional / Technical Category (Assistance: ₹5,00,000/-)

Eligibility: Candidates holding Degrees/Diplomas in Engineering, Medicine, Agriculture, Veterinary, IT, or Specialized Vocational Trades.
Structure: ₹2,50,000/- as Government Grant (Subsidy) + ₹2,50,000/- as Interest-Free Loan.
Target Sectors: Processing plants, agro-tech units, diagnostic labs, IT services, and commercial ventures.

Eligibility Criteria

The applicant must be a permanent resident of Assam.
Age Limit: 28 to 40 years as on 1st April (Upper age relaxed to 43 years for SC, ST, and OBC candidates).
The candidate must have an active registration in an Employment Exchange in Assam.
The applicant should possess a clean credit record and must not have defaulted on any previous loan from scheduled commercial banks.
Only one member per family is eligible for financial assistance under the scheme.

Click on New Registration and enter your mobile number, Aadhaar number, and Employment Exchange registration number.
Fill in the detailed online application form with proposed business project details.
Upload bank details, educational certificates, identity proof, and project report.
Submit the online application and download the acknowledgement receipt.
